THE CONSTRUCTIONS DESCRIPTION
General comments
Before gluing get familia with the main plan of the model and the
assembly drawing. We use a rule of matching pieces on dry, try on twice,
then glue. During gluing the body checz the symmetry of its gluingness.
Places not printed, cutt curbs, scratches, etc. paint with watercolours or other
suitable colours. After gluing paint the model with colourless varnish. Pieces
needing specific profile or rolling into a tight roll can be slightly
moisturized from the unprinted side before profiling. Before using such metod
you should try it on pieces of cardboard. With proper practise causes the
possibility for perfect effects.

Beside couple of
pieces some illustration of their formings are shown. The red and green (on the
red elements) numberation
marks places where the details should be glued. The frames edges should
be brinded according to the clinging segments, this is the most important
condition concerning matching both
elements.
The build of the
model begin from making the skeleton from pieces A1-A9. First glue elements from
A1 to A6, then make the secondo part of the skeleton using elements A7, A8, A9.
The second part of the skeleton glue to the first only after gluing inside
elements of the cabins equipment from nr. 1 to 5. Element nr. 1 form as shown in
the drawing, on the marked places glue pieces 2 and 3, nextly the entire detail
glue into the skeleton. You can also make an imitation of
a luster of wiring coming out of piece 3. We use to this a wire with a
diameter of 0,3 mm which we glue to the box and to frame A1 in the place marked
by a small black dot. The lateral rounded partitions piece 1 shouldnt be
glued yet to the skeleton what will allow gluing the Rest of the equipment
elements. From piece 4a as according to drawing glue the box to the inside which
we glue diagonaly piece 4b. To piece 4b on the marked places glue pedale made
from pieces 5a-5d as according to the drawing. The entire piece glue to the
front part of the skeleton to piece A4 and frame A3. Now we can glue to the
skeleton pieces A7, A8, A9. To piece 6a glue strip 6b and the instrument board
6c.From piece 7 and patterns F1 and F2 we make the transparent armour which we
nextly glue to piece 6a in the marked place. According to patterns S1 we make
the support panels. From glued together pieces 8a,b,c make a compass which we
glue with a drop of glue to the panel. From pieces 9a,b,c we make the box which
we glue to marked place on the instrument board. From the top to the box we glue
the dative made from piece 9d and pattern F3. From
piece 10 make the lever, which after proper forming should be glued to the
instrument board. On pattern S2 roll tightly piece 11a, glue to the sticking out
piece of wire piece 11b and the entire piece glue to the instrument board. To
piece S3 glue piece12 and this part glue aswell to the instrument board. The
equipt instrument board can be glued to the body. From piece 14 and 15 make the
pilots arm-chairs as well as the grapples.
Over Piece 14aP and 14aL glue
stripe 14c(on the outsider part of piece 14a),to the inside glue stripe 14b.
From piece 14d make the levers which you glue to both
sides of piece 14a. From piece 14e make the fixing which should be glued
to piece 14c on the marked place. From pieces 15a-c make the safety belts, which
after proper profiling glue to the arm-chairs. The ready arm-chair glue into the
cockpit. From pieces 16 a-i as well as pattern S4 glue the control stick. First
glue the basis piece 16a, next on pattern S4 thread and glue together pulleys 16
b-g, in the upper part of S4 glue
piece 16h. Both pieces 16i glue together on the unprinted sides and glue to
piece 16h. The ready pulley fix into the cabin. From pieces 17a and b and pattern
S5 glue as according to the drawing the lever which should be glued to the
cabins floor on the marked place.Next get ready to make the cabins equipment.
Begin from the left side. Piece 18a glue into a box and glue to the port, to it
glue pieces 18b and 18c.To piece 18b glue a knob made from piece 18d and tightly
rolled piece 18e. Piece 19 roll tightly and glue to the port. Glue the thrusts
lever from pieces 20 a-e as in drawing and when ready glue to the port in the
marked place. Now in the upper part of the port glue the already glued piece 25L
in which in the front bottom piece glue the cabins opening lever piece 21. The
entire port can be closed and glue to frame A1 and A3. To the right port
glue piece 22, a box made from pieces 24a,b,c. From a wire with a diameter of
0,5 mm make the air conduit which should be led on the port as according to the
drawing.Glue one of the ends to piece 24 and the other end of the wire bend
slightly to the inside of the cabin. Now to the port glue piece 25P.Glue to the
port frames A1 and A3. Over the ready cabin glue pieces 26 and 27. Before gluing
the shell planting, on the proper frames glue the proper plywood situated on a
sheet on pieces of the shell planting.Do not give up with the plywood because
the effect will be not matching shell plantings to the frames. Next make segment
28. After cutting out frame A10 grind the edges as according to the shape of the
segment., which will help in further joinings of both pieces. Over the grinded
frame glue a joining strap. Profile the segment and glue it into a cone with the help of plywood. Next to the inside of
the segment in the front part glue frame A10 with the joining strap. Glue
the ready segment to the Rest of the body. Similarly glue and join the remaining
segments which are: 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36. Piece 32a should be glued in
the front part of segment 32 from the unprinted side. Frame A15 glue from pieces
A15a and A15b as shown in the picture making a pocket for the stabilizer
fins girder. Glue the top part of the bodies skeleton from elements A17-A28.
While gluing pay attention to the openings in piece A26a and A26b which should
match with the cut outs in piece A17. Before gluing the skeleton you should
choose if you want the amunission
compartment or not. If you choose not to then make the element as according to
the drawing. In this version to frame A18 glue from the front the front cut out
of detail 39. If you decise to make the amunission compartment glue the skeleton
in the following way: from piece A17 cut off
the marked place in the front part, resignate from frameA18 and replace it
with piece 39. Glue the skeleton as according to drawing from pieces A17,
A19-A28. From the forefront to frame A19 glue piece 38. From elements 40 and 41
as shown in the picture glue amunissions storage bin. The ready storage bin glue
to piece 38. Next glue frame 39 which should be glued to the storage bins in the
marked place. Glue the ready skeleton to the top of the body. Next to the body
glue piece 42 c and d.Piece 42a glue to the body in the marked place, glue to
frame A1. To tightly rolled piece 42b glue already glued together pieces 42 c
and d and the entire part glue to the body in the marked place. Glue the ready
skeleton to pieces 43-47. In piece 43 cut out the blue areas of the glazing and
glue under then patterns F4, paint
the entire detail from the unprinted side grey. When you make the opened
amunission compartment remember while gluing piece 43 use plywood placed by
element 44b. Next glue the cover of the amunission compartment
-skid glued as closed
-skid glued as pulled out
-skid made movable(able to be pulled out)
The skid in the first part glue in the following manner:
Over glued piece 51 on the sides glue pieces A31L and A31P. Glue in the front a skeleton made from pieces A30a and A32. In the cuttings in piece A31 glue both halfs of piece 33, and from the back glue skeleton made from pieces A34-A39. Glue the ready skeleton to the bottom of the body. Over the skeleton glue part of the shell planting 56a-56g. Next from pieces 54a, b, c glue the skid. The ready skid glue from the bottom closing that way frame 51. The skid in the secondo version glue in the following way: Glue half of piece 51 not closing it entirely. Next with the help of proper drawings make pylons piece 52. In this version dont make wires S10, S11, S12, S13. On the sheets with pictures are shown pictures and projection of a pylon in scale 1:1. They serve for proper adjusting and grinding individual elements. The pylons can be soldered from wire or glued to proper piece sof plastik or wooden rods, when ready it can be painted grey. On the top part of the pylon glue elements 53a and 53b, join these elements with wires S7 and S8 with rolled on them pieces 53c and d. Make a servo-motor from a tightly rolled piece 53e on pattern S9. Join the ready servo-motor to piece 53a with the help of pattern S9. The entire skids mechanism glue to piece 51 in the marked place. At this moment you can close element 51. Continue making the skid as in version one except fixing the skid. The skid make from pieces 54a-c. To the pylon element 52 glue the pylons fixings element 54d. Glue to the skid element 55a and 55b. Glue the ready skid to the grapples 54d with the help of cian-acryle glue. The third version is very hard, so it is best for people who are already quite familiar with modeling. The skid in the third version is similarly made as in the second version. Prick or grill openings(diameter of about 0,5 mm) into element 51 and element A31 in the marked places(marked by circles). Similarly as in the second version glue element 51 but not closing it entirely. On both sides to element 51 glue piece A31L and P. Next make the pylons piece 52 similarly as earlier but now pieces 52a,b,d are substituded by a piece of insulation of a wire. In the top part of the pylons fix piece 53a and 53b(they should be movable). Pieces of wire S10 put out of pieces 53a and b glue with a drop of glue. Join the pylons together with the help of pieces 53c,d and patterns S7 and S8. Piece 53e roll tightly on wire S9 but letting it move out and back in. Instead of using piece 53f use a insulation wires with wire S13. Glue teh ready piece to the back of the servo-motor. Put the entire mechanism into openings on one side of element 51 and the ready part close into a box and then glue. From pieces 54a-c as well as 55 glue the skid. The fixings piece 54d thread on wire S11. Next match the skid to the fixings (54d) into closed position. After marking the spot where the skid will be put, glue it with cyano-acryle glue. Proceed with the remaining parts as it was done above. The tailwheel with the shield glue according to drawing from pieces 57 and 58. After profiling properly piece 57d glue inside piece 57a and 57b glued already to piece 57c, glue to the ready detail a wheel made from pieces 58a,b,c or from pattern S15 with the help of piece 57e. You can glue the wheel with the shield as an opened or closed. Then to the pocket made in a skeleton put a wire S14 into an opening in piece A38, the second sticking out wire glue to an opening cut-out from piece 57b. The build of the wings begin from making the bodies skeleton-wing. Glue the skeleton from pieces A40a-A40e according to drawing. If you choose to put arc and guns, in piece A40a cut-out a big area, similarly in frame A13 cut-off part marked on grey. Next glue from pieces A41-A43 the wings skeleton. Join together both skeletons on dry. Both skeletons should be grinded. The joinings of the skeletons should be grinded specificly and precisely. Because the Komet had typical twisted wings it Has to be reflectioned in the model. It will be best to turn the wings by hands. If you want to checz if the wings are turned properly fix a pattern from pieces A,B,C,D served to checking the skeleton. Copie the elements of the pattern and make another pattern as a reflection of the first to checz the skeleton of the second wing. When the skeletons are ready be ready for fixing the wings. The wing can be fixe in two ways:
-in the first waybegin from gluing together both skeletons (wings and piece by the body) next fix the entire part to the body and then glue over the skeletons shell planting.
-in the second way glue to the body the skeleton of the piece by the body, which you then glue with shell planting. The wings should be glued over by shell planting separately. After gluing the wings put them on a bayonet piece A40a and glue to the beside-body.
-the third way is a bit different because we use a blade to the bayonets pieces A40a and glue the wing to the beside-body. This will causa weakness of the joinings but will let proper grinding both of the areas joinings.
Use a way which will be most suitable for
you. Glue the recess gun according to drawing from pieces 59a-59g. Pieces
60a-60c glue together, t5hen the entire piece glue to the body. If you decided
to make the gun arc then from piece 60d cut-out covers of the arc. The cut-out
covers glue from the unmarked side to piece 59i. The cuttings in pice 60d glue
from the bottom to piece 59h. Glue ready piece 60d to the skeleton. From the
bottom glue properly profiled piece 60e. Glue over the wings piece 61. In piece
61 make cuttings in the proper places. Profile properly piece 61 before gluing
to the skeleton. While gluing over the wings piece 61 remember not to glue yet
the edges. First in the back part of the wing glue ribs A44a,b,c,d and only
after that you can glue the edges. From pieces A45a-d as well as wire S16 glue
the flap balancer.Over the ready skeleton glue shell planting piece 62, next pin
the ready flap to openings in the back part of the girder A41i. Next from pieces
A46a-d, 63a and wire S17 glue the steer aileron. Wire S17 glue to the skeleton
with cyan-acryle glue. Over the skeleton glue piece 63b. The sticking out piece
of wire put into an opening in
piece A44c, and piece 63a glue to girder A44i. From wires S18 and pieces 64a-e
fix landing flaps. The flaps can be glued as closed or sticking out. In the
first case we resignate from pieces 64c and wire S18, glued together pieces 64a
and 64b glue to the bottom surfaces of the wings in the marked place. In the
second case glue together pieces 64a and 64b on the unprinted sides. To the
flaps fix wire AS18 with the help of piece 64c. Glue the ready front edges of
the flaps to the bottom surface of the wings.Wires S18 stick to the bottom
surface of the wing or cut them
approprietly and glue to the black
surfaces. The leaning of the wings should be about from 0-45 degrees, depending
on the chosen leaning shorten wire S18 and bend their ends so that they go into
the black areas on the bottom of the wing. Glue the properly shaped pieces 65a-f
on the bottom surfaces of the wings in the marked place. Make slat ribs from
piece 66 which you then glue to the bottom slat cracks in the marked place.
Starting-carriage. Pieces 67 a,b,c glue together. Before gluing the detail put
inside it wire S19 being the wheels axle. On the sticking out ends of wire S19
thread on pulleys 67k and then glue to the carriage. Glue in the front of the
carriage detail made from piece 67d,e,f. Glue
from the back detail made from pieces 67h,i,j.After cutting piece 67g and
properly bending it glue pieces 67f and 67j in the place marked with stripes.
The carriages wheels should be made from glued together and properly grinded
pulleys 68a and 68b. Remember that the inside cuttings in piece 68b should be
grinded before gluing to piece 68a. Fix the ready wheels onto wire S19 and safen
from slipping off with the help of pieces 68c and 68d. Glue the pulleys only
with a drop of glue.Current airscrew driver. To a tightly rolled piece 69a glue
blades piece 69b and then glue the entire part into an opening in the
front part of the body. Glue piece 69c to the bottom part of piece 30. The
cabins shield glue from pieces 70a,b and a piece of foil cut out as according to
pattern F5. First glue over the foil piece 70c and then in the inside glue piece
70b. the entire shield glue to the body. If you choose not to make the cabins
equipment then you can resignate from piece 70b and instead of foil you can use
piece 70c. An antenna made from piece 71 and wire S20 put on airframes back as
according to drawing. As shown on pattern S21 make gun tubes. These tubes can be
made from needles or wires
insulation. Make an antenne as shown in pattern S22 which you then put on the
left wing in the place marked with a dot. As shown in pattern S24 make the
second antena which you glue to the body to piece 56e. As shown in pattern SA25
make a pipe which you glue to the back part of the body to piece 56g in the spot
marked with a black dot. Glue the nozzle from piece 72 and when ready glue to
the back of the body. From piece 73
glue the fairing which you glue to both sides of piece 36. Piece 74 glue to
piece 56f. From piece 75a glue the rudders fairing pusher and when ready glue to
the left side of pice 48L. Piece 75b , rudders fairing pusher glue to the
rudder(piece 50a) in a place on the opposite side of the fading 75a.
Scheuch-schlepper
Begin the build of
the model from the skeleton. Fix the skeleton from pieces A1-A6. Before gluing
the skeleton you should cut out openings which will help in fixing the wheels
axles. Over piece A4 glue piece A5 making this way a pocket which will help in
fixing a attached wheel or a machine for bringing down an airplane from the
airport after landing.Over the ready skeleton glue properly bended pieces 1,2,3.
Glue the mudguard from pieces 4a
and 4b. To the outside part of the mudguard glue piece 4a. The ready mudguards
glue to the aircraft traktor with the help of fixings 5a,b,c. The switchboard
piece 6 glue in the marked place to frame A3. To piece 7a glue pedale 7b and the
entire piece glue to the aircraft traktor. Piece 8 after gluing glue to the
body. Piece 9 after gluing glue to the back of the body and to piece 8. In piece
9b before gluing cut out a a big long opening. Pieces 10a and b glue together on
the unprinted side, next glue from the bottom to piece 9c. Now make the wheels
