General comments
The model is considered rather difficult. Before gluing, get familia with the main plan of the
model and the assembly drawing. . During the gluing you should retouch
the edges with the properly choosen colour. Pieces marked * should be glued to
0,5-0,7 mm cardboard.Pieces marked with the letter P should be glued similarly
as pieces marked with letter L. While
gluing the fuselage check the symmetry of its gluingness. Places not printed,
cut curbs, scratches, etc. paint with waterless paint or other suitable colours. After gluing the model paint with
colourless and half matt varnish to make the construction more resistant from
damage and much easier to clean from dust. Use the rule of matching pieces together “on dry”, try on
twice-then glue. While gluing the body pay attention to the symmetry.
THE MODELS BUILD
Begin the build of the model from gluing the front body from pieces 1 to 4, plywood from 2a to 4a and 6a as well as frame 1a, 2b, 3b, 4b as showed in the assembly drawing 1. After forming and gluing segment 1 from the inside strengthen with glue or colourless varnish. After dryling, glue frame 1a. In the glued front part of the body cut out pieces of the sheathing from segments 3 and 4. In the opening glue the front undercarriages bow from pieces 17, 17a and 25t. Caution: roll tightly piece 25t and glue on wire VI- the front undercarriages leg. Glue to segment 4 plywood 6a, next glue the pilots cabin equipment from glued details and elements made from pieces A1 to A31 and S4, wire II as showed in drawing 2. Before gluing strengthen the upper parts with glue on the unprinted side. Fit the elevator made from pieces 18 to 18c, 19, 19a and wire I. Grind the elevators construction pieces 19 and 19a and glue the sheathing piece 18. The ready elevator fit onto the wire I. Glue the bodies engine consrtuction from glued on the cardborad pieces from 5 to 5i. To the glued construction glue plywood 7a, 7b, 8a, 9a, 10a. The cut out pieces of the material from pieces 5 fit to pieces 16 and 16a. The ready intake glue to piece 5 and frame 5c. Over the ready construction glue the sheathing formed in segments 7 to 10. Glue to the engines sheathing steppe made from pieces 15, 15a and 15b. Cut out and remove elements of the sheathing from segments 8, 9 and 10, in the formed opening glue piece 20, and in it exhaust pipes 20a. With the help of plywood 6a and frame 5a join together both part of the body. Over the joined pieces glue the sheathing from piece 5. Glue the back of the bodies construction: first from pieces 12 to 12c and glue over by sheathing 11 and 11a, the second part from pieces 14 to 14d glued over by sheathing from pieces 13 to 13c. When ready glue to the body in the marked space. To the second back construction glue the air intake made from pieces 21, 21a, 21b as well as the strip piece 13a as showed in the assembly drawing 1 and 3. Glue to the end of the bodies element ring 38, paint their unprinted side black. Glue the windscreens net from pieces 21,22,23 from the inside glue the glazing S1, S2, S3 as well as the inside nets 21a, 22a and 23a. CAUTION! While gluing form the windscreen to the shape of the frame 12a as showed in the assembly drawing 4. The cap with the propellers blade glue from pieces 9 to 9e, 40 and 40a, pin and toothpick or another material. roll piece 39c on the pin with a tight leeway. The propellers blade 40 and 40a profile properly and glue onto the toothpick, when ready glue to the capas showed in the assembly drawing 5. The fitting of the windscreen and the caps withethe propellers blades make in the ending stage of the models build. Glue the center section of the wing
construction from pieces 24 to 24i. Pieces 24, 24a, 24d and 24h glue on the printed side from the inside. Glue over the center section of the wing sheathing 26, 26a and plywood 26b, sheathings airfoil 27, 28, 29, 29a and plywood 27a and 28a as showed in drawing 7. The underwing flaps 27b, 27c and 27d glue and fit by the hinges to the girders 25g airfoil. Glue the stabilizers fin construction from pieces 34 and 34a as well as rudder from pieces 35, 35a, 35b and wire V. The stabilizers and the rudders construction glue and properly grind. Piece 35b of the rudder, while gluing roll onto wire V. Glue over the stabilizer sheathing 36 and 36a, over the rudder sheathing 37. The ready stabilizer fin glue and fit onto the airfoil. To the fitted stabilizer, glue piece 35b to the rudder. Glue the airlerons construction from pieces 30 to 30d and wire III. After gluing cut off from pieces 30d a layer of material, grind and glue with sheathing 31. The glued construction of the airleron made from pieces 32, 32a, 32b and wire IV, grind and glue to the sheathing 33. Glue onto the ends of the wire III and IV fit the airlerons to the airfoil. The front undercarriage made from pieces 41 to 41h and wire VI glue as showed in the assembly drawing 8. The front wheel and the main undercarriage glue from cardboard according to the patterns preserving the proper thickness and the shape as showed in the assembly drawing 10. The front wheels glued from pieces 42 to 42d and wire VII fit to the undercarriages leg. The shield 46, 46a glue to the leg as showed in drawing 9. Glue the main undercarriage from pieces 42d and from 43 to 43f, wire VIII and wheel from pieces 44 to 44c, from the glued to the leg shield from pieces 47, 47a v as well as the glued shield from pieces 48, 48a and 45b, 49, 49a, fit in the main undercarriage bow. Details made from pieces 50 to 54 and wire IX end the build of the model.
WE WISH GREAT FUN
WHILE MAKING THE MODEL.
